The idea behind this photo was talking about consumption of resources and taking away from animals and nature because of our selfishness when it comes to nature. Using things as common as different household products can negatively affect the environment. When you use one of these products and then for example, flush them down the toilet or down the sink, you are contributing to runoff and pollution when these chemicals make there way to bodies of water.

   My photo is representative of how these chemicals affect animals. The fish tank is symbolic of the animals (fish) and the household product is being used to fill it. There is no fish because obviously a fish cannot survive in this type of climate or setting and the Lysol being poured into it is a literal depiction of harming the environment even though in reality it’s happening a lot more discreetly.

  This photo is probably my least favorite of all I’ve taken for these words because it was rushed and I didn’t like the setting or the lighting in it.
